"Banning Stagecoach KOA" in Banning, California - was rated: 8

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Stopped in at 1 p.m. for an overnight stay. I did not have a reservation but was given a nice back in spot with grass area for the dogs. Debi at the front desk is so friendly! I have found the other people staying here to be equally nice. It is [...]

Nice campground. Can get loud on weekends. Right next to Black river, great swimming and family fun. Playground nice. New addition on west side of black river, but not shady. The East side has plenty of shade. The west side not hard to get in and out of, but [...]

"Jellystone Park Camp Resort" in Cave City, Kentucky - was rated: 8

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Overall this was a fairly nice campground. However the two things that stand out are that some of the sites are no very level and the price. $45 per night at the end of Sept, and the pool/water slide had already been closed. Too pricey for us, and we probably will stay [...]

"Cal-Nev-Ari RV Park" in Cal-Nev-Ari, Nevada - was rated: 6

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Even though this place is out in the middle of nowhere, this is a nice RV park. It has many long and wide pull-through sites that are easy to get in and out. There is a small, older casino/bar and restaurant across the street - the restaurant is pretty good. The people are very [...]

"Snowbird RV Resort" in Fort Mohave, Arizona - was rated: 6

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

We stayed here because it was a Passport America affiliate so we got 1/2 price camping. The park is located quite a ways south from most of the things you would want to do in the area such as the casinos in Laughlin. We probably wouldn’t have stayed here due to that fact if it [...]

"Terrible’s Lakeside Casino RV Park" in Pahrump, Nevada - was rated: 10

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

This is a beautiful park - an oasis in the desert. If you visit in March or April, you will need reservations. Since we visited in February, there were a number of sites available. The only drawback was that there are only a few pull-through sites, but the back-ins were very large. It is a [...]

"Space Station RV Park" in Beatty, Nevada - was rated: 5

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

This park consists of over nighters and semi-permanent residents. The pull-throughs are long enough, but it is a little tight turning in and out of them. The sites are gravel and when the winds blow, it does get dusty. The laundry room is small and used by others in the town. [...]
