We were in Sandy Beach Campground, site D74, a group site with my brother and two nieces. Bathrooms are of the pit variety and were as clean as could be expected. No other facilities here. Nice view of the lake and of Laramie Peak. Beach close by for the kids and [...]

Lovely campground with views of the Sierra Nevada and the lake. Very quiet and few visitors when we were there. Highly recommended.
Good campground for access to Death Valley - 1000 ft altitude means not as hot as the campgrounds in the valley floor. The campground manager was quite abrupt - in fact rude might be a better word.
Nice campground with good views over Lake Isabella. Quite a lot of road noise from Hwy 178 behind the campground.

Excellent campground - spacious sites, many with a good view of the lake.
Okay this has got to be the best campground on or near Grand Lake! We looked into others but this one has everything needed for kids to have a good time as well as adults. All the way down to an indoor pool/outdoor pool. It has scheduled crafts for both, game room, movies [...]
