This was a nice place to spend the night. Quite with good water and electricity. Sites were a little close together, however each had a picnic table. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

"Alamosa KOA" in Alamosa, Colorado - was rated: 7

Typical small KOA. This is the only real option when staying in Alamosa. OK stopover spot. Because it’s in the desert, the campground roads are gravel and dusty. Facilities were clean. No landscaping to speak of. Will stay here again if we need to stay in Alamosa. The [...]

"Dolores River RV Park" in Dolores, Colorado - was rated: 7

Nice park under new management. Sites are easy to access and roads are well laid out. The bathrooms and laundry are clean. The office staff is friendly and helpful, and there are many seasonal residents, who welcome everyone, and all are welcome to the Saturday night campfire. The Wi-Fi did not work. [...]

Wow! What a park. I have been traveling for a while and seen many different parks, but I must say this is one of the nicest parks I have been to. The park lay out is great. Very easy to get in and out, very clean, beautiful landscaping. Clean restrooms. [...]

"Phoenix Metro RV Park" in Phoenix, Arizona - was rated: 6

We stay here 6 months in the winter. Not fancy but the price is right and everything is close. It is not a resort but over age 55 makes it a quiet place to stay.

"FoxRun Rv Park" in Palmer, Alaska - was rated: 5

This park is too small and cramped, plus it is next to a busy, noisy highway. Good news is the park is clean and the lake is lovely. Unfortunately when we visited, there was a group occupying the limited lake access and it wasn’t comfortable to intrude. The books give it good [...]

"Nottely River Campground" in Blairsville, Georgia - was rated: 6

According to the owners, the campground has been family owned and operated for about 50 years. They are very nice, extremely dedicated, and very helpful. The campground is very simple and rustic. It is a small campground but quaint and a little old-fashioned. The pros are: It is very family oriented with lots of things [...]

"Elk Creek Resort" in Piedmont, South Dakota - was rated: 7

Friday, July 31st, 2009

We stayed here four nights and the park was quite with good water and electricity. A resort it is not but the sites were fairly level and we were mostly interested in a place to spend the night after a day of sightseeing. They accept PPA and we would stay here again.

"Stone Mountain Park Campground" in Stone Mountain, Georgia - was rated: 9

Very satisfactory park! Some of the staff members were more helpful and friendly than others. Restrooms and showers were clean. Looks like a full range of hook-up choices depending on your needs.

"Ledgeview Village RV Park" in Lake George, New York - was rated: 9

The neatest, cleanest, best kept CG we’ve seen. Other CGs that are all paved sites in neat little rows can easily be swept or hosed down. But Ledgeview is tree covered with all packed-earth sites and you would be hard pressed to find a “switch” to discipline an ill-behaved child or a loose [...]
