Apparently this campground has really gone downhill in the last few years. We camped there just last week. We had a creek side site—–bad idea; the creek flooded, and so did we almost. When asked they didn’t know where they would move people because they were full. Our friends reserved campsites [...]

There is a nice lake view, and the prevailing SE wind gives good breeze off the lake. There are plenty of trees. Sites include a concrete pad for chairs, tables, etc.The interior roads are gravel. It may be tight for large MH’s & 5th wheelers but several large rigs seemed to have made it ok.

This park is in great shape since it has recently been renovated. All of the roads and pads are paved and level. The full hook-up sites have new and very nice facility connections with two water connections per site (very nice for black flush). The only downsides are the price (a little [...]

There is a great Pool for the kids here! The bathrooms are clean but old and the toilets are cramped. They could have had more bathroom facilities. We enjoyed the trails. They kept you guessing what was around the corner. They went from really wooded to open fields. We camped along the river, it was [...]

This was my second time staying here. This time the park was crammed and I got an alternate site from what I reserved. I reserved a full hookup, pull-through site for 2 nights and got a back-in site #K15 with trees scratching my back the first night with no sewer and cable. [...]

"Johnson’s Campground and RV Park" in St Mary, Montana - was rated: 8

Spent three nights here with one of the best views I have encountered for over a month on the road. Site was area “B”, up a good hill but the site was as level as they come. Walkable (about 3/4 mile) to the St. Mary Visitor Center for Glacier Park and Going to [...]

This was a very clean site. Their website pictures are fairly accurate. Good shade trees, and thank goodness, because it’s hot here! The camp host was helpful. The perms in this campground can be creepy: lock your doors. This may be a beautiful area, but wait for the cooler months. [...]

The Good:
Camp hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi worked well with good speed. Campgrounds were clean and well kept. Pull through sites were fairly level. Camp visitors were very respectful of each other.
The Bad:
Campsites are crowded, especially if you have a large rig or are in a back-in site (which [...]
