"Wendover KOA" in West Wendover, Nevada - was rated: 6

I did not run into any of the problems recent reviews complained about. Then again, the park was sparsely occupied: maybe 30 of 120 sites. It has FHU, Wi-Fi, cable TV and a pool. We did have a problem with our dirt site. Since the low branches of the small [...]

"McCammon RV Park" in Mccammon, Idaho - was rated: 6

Good for an overnight stay. Restrooms look like they are part of a jail but they were very clean. Side-by-side hookups but we had an end site and no one behind us. Staff was friendly and the park was quiet.

Small and old park but very comfortable with good shade and really nice owners. Restrooms are old but very clean. We would stay here again.

"Blackwater River State Park Campground" in Holt, Florida - was rated: 10

This park is a gem. Everything about our weekend at Blackwater River S.P. was excellent. The site was spotless upon our arrival. The restrooms were the cleanest we’ve ever seen in a campground be it private or state. This is a small park so traffic was rare. Children ran [...]

"Winnemucca RV Park" in Winnemucca, Nevada - was rated: 7

In general, I agree with the comments of recent reviewers. The park has the facilities desired by most of today’s RVers and seems to be clean and well run. It was not full during our visit, so it may be different during more crowded conditions. For example: the Wi-Fi worked fine [...]

"Klamath Falls KOA" in Klamath Falls, Oregon - was rated: 7

This is a decent park with good facilities (FHU, Wi-Fi, cable, and a pool). It is nothing special but certainly an adequate stopover. I did not find the “skeeters” to be as bothersome as some of the previous reviewers. There are numerous stores and restaurants within a mile of the park.

"Gold Coaster" in Homestead, Florida - was rated: 8

A lot of mobiles and park models here. A lot of RV spaces available also. Probably fills up in the winter. A quality park, very well kept. Lawns must be kept up by the park as we didn’t see anything that needed cutting. Wal-Mart is 3 miles away. It’s [...]

"Cedar Haven Resort" in Spanish Fork, Utah - was rated: 1

I’m not sure where the previous poster stayed, but here are my observations. The park was conveniently located off Hwy 60. Check-in was confusing. Don’t go where it says Office. Go to the store. The girl behind the counter didn’t have a clue. I asked her if I needed [...]

"Flying Goose Campground" in Fairmont, Minnesota - was rated: 8

We stayed here overnight while traveling on I-80. Turned out to be a nice spot to stop. The only issue was we arrived late and started to pull into a “pull through” but quickly discovered that it didn’t have sewer services which we were told they had. Luckily, the site manager showed [...]

"Jim Thorpe Camping Resort" in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania - was rated: 7

Previous postings are accurate. However, we enjoyed our stay and our site. Main reason was that this campground was virtually empty this past weekend. Whole different atmosphere in the off-season. I would suggest sites near the street or pull through sites 45 & 46 (ours). We will return next year [...]
