"Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort" in Las Vegas, Nevada - was rated: 7

This is a beautiful park that is nicely laid out with large manicured spaces with beautiful landscaping. The only disappointment was the noise from the airport and apparent disregard by some of the owners regarding their barking dogs.

"Stillwell RV Park" in Alpine, Texas - was rated: 5

This is a funky cowboy/horse area type campground property. There is a small store and “museum” on property - usually live music at night in the “museum”, along with story-telling, DVD’s of local interest. Often meals are available too, home cooked by the owner (who is very friendly.) It is a freat way to enter [...]

"Rockwell RV Park" in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - was rated: 6

We stayed here overnight. The showers and bathrooms were utilitarian, but clean. I agree with former post berating sewer hookups being next to picnic tables. It is on the outskirts of Oklahoma City. There is very casual, but friendly, staff. There is a gig dip (drainage?), that is hard to notice on way out that [...]

"Huguenot State Park" in Jacksonville, Florida - was rated: 9

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Huguenot is a Jacksonville “City” Park located at the mouth of Saint Johns River. We love this primitive river side campground and have been camping here for years. RV’s will need a low noise generator. Bring your bug spray. The showers and bathrooms are currently in poor condition but in working order. Weekdays are quiet [...]

We overnight here often. The park is clean, but a bit dated. Friendly and accommodating staff makes up for the facility short coming. There is great Cable TV service. My Verizon EV broadband stick worked great. If you need water, use a filter.

The rates are $32 + tax/daily or $210 + tax/weekly. They do have monthly and yearly rates. Electric is included in daily and weekly rate. This is a beautiful RV park. Tons of activities to do. Heated pool and spa. Golf course on campground…$11/9 holes. Restaurant…we did not [...]

Full-hook ups. 30 or 50 amp, good water pressure. Very nice landscape. A 3/4 mile walking trail…very nice. Good Internet connection, Verizon phone worked super. Everyone was very nice. Easy access to I-10. No railroad noise. Restaurant was not open…heating went out. They were to open [...]

"Sunset Isle RV Park / Motel" in Cedar Key, Florida - was rated: 8

Older park with haphazard layout, uneven dirt sites, rather close together. Friendly, helpful owners. Charming ambiance with great water views. We would return.

"Sarasota Sunny South RV & Mobile Home Resort" in Sarasota, Florida - was rated: 9

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

What a little gem. Small older campground that’s been given a lot of TLC from its new owners. They are adding more RV sites. About half the park is park model/mobile homes. Most are in nice shape. They are building a brand new swimming pool which is almost ready to [...]

"Emerald Cove RV Resort" in Earp, California - was rated: 7

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

Very friendly staff. Some on going maintenance. Waterfront sites are for members of CRA only. Rate is for Coast to Coast Members, plus $2.50 per day for cable TV. We had a 30 amp back-in full hookup site. Site was wide and deep and level gravel. The roads in [...]
