"Aransas Bay RV Resort" in Aransas Pass, Texas - was rated: 10

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

We just stayed at this park last weekend and it was awesome! It is very private but close to the amenities of town. The park is so beautiful and the landscaping is gorgeous. It is a brand new park. The pool, hot tub, club house and bathhouse with private restrooms including full [...]

"Imperial Bonita Estates" in Bonita Springs, Florida - was rated: 4

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

Sites can be very difficult to maneuver. No cable TV and so many trees that our satellite couldn’t get a signal. Otherwise the park is nice and people friendly. The laundromat is not really closed in, just screened, so you need to clean machines before you use them.

"Fort Myers Beach RV Resort" in Fort Myers, Florida - was rated: 1

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

This RV park is one of the worst managed parks that I have ever stayed in. The restrooms are dirty, the office staff rude, and the manager isn’t on site. I would think twice if I was thinking of staying in this area. There are nicer parks for less money and more [...]

"Coachlight Inn & RV Park" in Las Cruces, New Mexico - was rated: 2

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

Expensive and ugly. Very noisy due to road traffic. Bad odors from the sewer plant across the street. Paid for a month but left after just a couple of weeks. Park is mostly long-term residents. Most travelers come in for a night or two and leave. Picnic tables falling [...]

"Alamogordo Roadrunner Campground" in Alamogordo, New Mexico - was rated: 2

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

The swimming pool was not in service in 2009 and will not be in service in 2010. This campground has seen better days. Trees have been butchered and overall landscaping is in rough shape. The campground is just across the street from two large trucking depots. Unfortunately, sleep at night is [...]

"Fortuna De Oro RV Park" in Yuma, Arizona - was rated: 1

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

I have never been so glad to leave a park. It is huge, and it is evident that the owner is raking in the dough while doing the least possible. The office looks as if nothing has changed since it was built about 40 years ago. No computer system, just a bunch [...]

"Thousand Trails Las Vegas" in Las Vegas, Nevada - was rated: 8

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

Rate is for Thousand Trail members. There is very very friendly staff. This facility is very well maintained, with on going maintenance. This is an urban park in the middle of a large city, so expect city sounds and sights. If expecting wilderness and lots of space, this isn’t the place. There is a very [...]

"Tall Pines RV Park" in Shreveport, Louisiana - was rated: 10

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

Easy to find, good roads, easy “pre-registration”. Late arrival information was there, power, cable with lots of channels, level site. Didn’t need to unhook. Metal tables and chairs, and friendly staff in office in the morning when we asked questions. One of few reviews which was right on about how great this park is [...]

"Spring Creek Marina & RV Park" in San Angelo, Texas - was rated: 1

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

The park has dirt roads and pads. It has lots of trees, so satellite reception can be challenging, as well as the “free wi-fi” they advertise. There is a public road between the park and the lake, and there is a city park and dirt dumping area on the other side that requires [...]
