"Bass Lake RV Campground" in Dillon, South Carolina - was rated: 8

A very nice park, clean and well kept. This park had been abandoned for quite some time but for the past year the new owners are rapidly putting things right. The man and his wife are from England and are very friendly and helpful. The rate I have quoted includes the 10% Good Sam discount. Other discounts are accepted. There is a small lake on the premises as well as brand new restrooms/showers (which we did not use) and a new laundry building (also not used). EZ on/off I-95, the sites are hard packed dirt or grass. Some are shaded under tall pines and others are in the open. Each site is wider than the average RV park. Being close to I-95 there is highway noise but we’re used to that. Hookups seem to be properly placed, at least they were on our site and the sites near us. No shared hookups that we saw. No cable TV but over the air TV brings in all networks but NBC. The park WI-FI system puts out a strong signal to the campsites and is pretty fast. I measured 1.9 Mbps down and 162 Kbps up. This is a very good overnight stop but we would be happy staying here longer.
